Charlie Manton (aged 10) goes to Feltonfleet School in Surrey , England . He has loved singing from an early age and has regularly sung in plays and recitals.

In December 2004 he sang in Benjamin Britten’s Saint Nicholas in Kingston , Surrey . He was one of the three Pickled Boys who were reviewed as “one of the highlights of the work . . . the procession down the aisle was timed to perfection.”

The part of Miles is his first operatic appearance. He is simultaneously rehearsing for Oliver (Lionel Bart) in which he plays the orphaned Oliver which will be performed in Hammersmith, London in May 2005.

Any energy that is not used up in performing and singing is given over to trampolining - his other great love.
