Allin Vlasenko was born in Chelyabinsk in Russia
. He graduated from the Kharkiv Conservatoire in 1961 and then did
his postgraduate studies at the Kyiv Conservatoire till 1966. After
that he was invited as conductor of the National Symphony Orchestra
of Ukraine (1966-71). Since 1971 he is working at the National Opera
where he has conducted over 50 operas and ballets.
Allin Vlasenko has conducted a lot in Ukraine and abroad – in Russia,
Europe and Latin America . He has made numerous recordings and broadcasts
for the National Radio, also has recorded CDs and videos of some
of his opera performances.
Since 1965 he teaches at the National Music Academy of Ukraine,
amongst his students are Volodymyr Sirenko and Victoria Zhadko.
